Qualifications

I am a Registered Counselling Therapist and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Additionally, I hold a certificate from Black Mental Health Canada Inc. in Understanding Black Clients in Mental Health Care. My practice focuses on providing culturally sensitive and empowering counselling to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, including emotional distress, domestic violence, abuse, stress, anxiety, PTSD, and more.

My approach is rooted in client-centered, trauma-informed care, and incorporates psychoeducation and evidence-based therapeutic methods. These include:
